Your relationship to failure can be a big factor in your sense of self-esteem. Joe has shares that he’s spoken with people who have many hobbies where they feel failure but have only invested an hour or so–When it came to learning guitar it took Joe at least 500 hours to really get playing the guitar. “Often times people feel like they failed when they never really gave it a shot.”
Joe makes it painfully obvious to his guest that being down on yourself for not doing things that were on the todo list but weren’t a priority is okay. In fact remembering the 80/20 rule should make this an easy breakthrough. Tune in to a deep look at how Joe re-frames the idea and experience of failure.
